Abarán is one of the lesser known but most historic towns in the region. It has some very prestigious sites, but the most prestigious by far is the so-called route of the waterwheels. We have the largest working waterwheel in Europe. This is one of the places you have to visit. On the other hand, another place to visit is the park of Jarral, where people go to bathe during the summer, where the river Segura flows through. It is a very nice place where tourists always go and have a lot of fun and can see beautiful landscapes. The last place is a place called “La Ermita”. It is a big place where you can eat something, because there is a bar, while the children can have fun playing in the park. Abarán is a very nice village that few people know about.
