I wanted to find out how much the cabin we bought mid may 2025 was being used all 2025 to check if we got money for value of getting a new loan.
Also I was curious to see if extended family and our friends were using it more than us owners.
After collecting the data into Excel I asked Copilot to create a colored calendar based on the data in the Excel sheet.
The 3 user categories (Owner alone, Owner with family/friends, Family/friends alone) marks the calendar with specific colors when the cabin was used. Un-colored days means the cabin was not in use.
By use of the cabin is meant that the users either slept the night, or visitors not being craftsmen spending 3 hours or more in the cabin during the day.
The categories does not specify which owner, family member or friend in specific has been using the cabin, in order to anonymize the data but still get a relevant picture of the usage.
